In December 2013, Howard University students pooled their creativity and resources to take a fourteen day trip to West Africa. Culture Arts & Development Bridge (Nigeria) planned developed and organized visits to several historical cities, slave castles, beautiful beaches, traditional villages, markets, and festivals in Nigeria. In addition, CADB scheduled a textile workshop, cultural dance performance and fully immersed these 9 students in the Yoruba culture in Southwest Nigeria.
